January, the Cranleigh Prep School hockey goalkeepers were lucky enough to participate in a coaching session with Maddie Hinch (current England and GB women’s goalkeeper, and arguably the best in the world) on Westcott pitch at the Prep School. The rain dried up just in time for nine goalkeepers to be put through their paces and shown some top tips by Maddie. Sean H, Blake K, Will W, Chris B, Raphaella R, Olivia B, Sophie R, Iris W and Ella W clearly enjoyed their session and are now prepared for the term’s hockey. Maddie was very pleased to be presented with a Cranleigh Prep Teddy, sporting a colours badge, as a small thank you from the players and she can be seen here, photographed with the goalies, after which she signed kit for them.
