Today Form 5/Year 7 pupils from Cranleigh Prep and Cranleigh Abu Dhabi took part in a joint interactive Computing lesson. The pupils enjoyed the video links between the classrooms and were able to discuss “face to face” the work they were doing. They all used Google Apps to collaborate in real time on a spreadsheet, creating interactive charts based on a survey they had all taken about School life. This allowed them to gather insights about each other as well as learning about this new exciting technology. Many thanks to Mrs Dadson (CAD) and Mr Futcher (CUK), along with the technical teams at both Schools, for setting this up and we hope it will become a model for future collaborative lessons.
