Form 1 pupils were treated to an Egyptian Dance and Drum workshop led by Dave and Sunitra from the company ‘Cairo Comes to School’.
They learnt a great deal about Egyptian life and were able to practise circle and line dancing as well as keeping a traditional Egyptian rhythm and working together to produce a class performance.
The children were most enthusiastic and very much enjoyed their morning. See the video below of them playing the Egyptian drums.
