An array of accomplished musical performers were in action at the Autumn Concert this week. The programme was really varied, and was a wonderful showcase of ensemble music making.

From the youngest children in Form 1 and 2 singing their class songs through to the experienced Chamber Choir performing Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’, the children were clearly excited by the music they were sharing.

We heard pieces such as the ‘James Bond’ theme, a jazzed up version of ‘Jingle Bells’, the theme from The Snowman ‘Walking in the air’, some African drumming and even some Justin Bieber!

The audience enjoyed the opportunity to hear choirs, orchestras, bands, percussionists and chamber music ensembles playing in the same concert together, and everyone went home feeling uplifted and inspired.
