Commandment: ‘Honour Your Parents’. They spoke with clear conviction, reminding the rest of the Lower and Middle school what it means to honour and respect your parents and why it is important to do so.
Humorous sketches illustrated their points and were interspersed with relevant bible quotations.
The children also acted out the story of ‘Five Minutes peace’ from the Large Family book – which struck a chord of familiarity with many of the 1U parents who had come to support their sons and daughters.
My thanks go to Mrs Beddison for teaching and rehearsing the gentle song ‘Honour your Father and your Mother’ and to all the children for their impressive word-learning, clear speaking and fabulous acting and singing – well done!
