William M, currently in Form 3, represented the South East at the British Gymnastics National Team Finals at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham.  He was competing in the Double Mini Trampoline discipline.

It was a huge achievement for him, not only to actually qualify to compete, but also to then have the confidence to march in to such a large arena, accompanied by music, while his name was announced over the tannoy.

Although the South East team did not win the Championship, William performed exceptionally well, finishing 6th and exceeding the qualification mark required under the National Development Pathway to compete in the National Finals at the International Centre in Telford in three weeks time.

We wish William lots of luck and look forward to hearing how he gets on.
