The Music Practice rooms at CPS have been given a new lease of life! Each of the individual rooms have been given a theme which celebrates famous musicians from all over the world and from all styles and genres.
Some of the themes include: Strings with Jacqueline du Pré and Anoushka Shankar, Percussion with Dave Grohl and Suzi Quatro, and Singing with Ed Sheeran and Maria Callas.
The wall graphics have undoubtedly brightened up the department and have inspired the pupils learning instruments with carefully chosen quotes and pictures. In a recent Open Morning a pupil giving a tour was overheard proudly saying “Look at our new practice rooms – they’re really cool!” Praise indeed!
