Earlier in September, the 2nd team began their season with a fine performance easing their way past a combative Windlesham side. Despite it being early season there was some excellent passing moves which thrilled the near capacity crowd.

Early nerves were settled when Seb stepped up from the back and worked a 1-2 on the edge of the box before calmly finishing in the corner. After half time Windlesham fought back and equalised. Cranleigh were then indebted to the defensive qualities of Archer, Will, George and not forgetting Freddie in goal to keep us in the match.

Having weathered the storm we again established some rhythm in our play and went away scoring three second half goals from Josh, Ben and Henry.
