What an absolute powerhouse of a performance!
The rafters were shaking on Friday for our House Singing Competition, and with this year’s theme being ‘Heroes,’ the energy was nothing short of legendary. From capes to classics, every house brought their A-game to the stage.
The Setlist:
- Spades: Inspired us all with a rousing rendition of Hall of Fame by The Script.
- Clubs: Took us on a flight with Superheroes by The Script.
- Diamonds: Brought the power of Bonnie Tyler’s Holding Out for a Hero.
- Hearts: Channeled their inner rockstars with David Bowie’s Heroes.
All Houses also performed the Unison Song ‘Something Just Like This’ by Coldplay and Chainsmokers.
The Results:
The competition was fierce, but the winners were as follows:
- Unison Song Winners: Diamonds took the crown for their incredible rendition of Something Just Like This.
- House Song & Overall Winners: A massive congratulations to Hearts! Your performance of Bowie’s Heroes was truly iconic and earned you the top spot.
Well done to everyone who took part—you all proved that we’ve got plenty of heroes right here at Cranleigh Prep!
