Budding designer, Fraser, wrote to James Dyson to share some of his ideas for his own design projects, one of these being a hover car. Fraser was keen to get some advice on how he should develop these ideas.
Mr Dyson was clearly impressed and wrote back. So much so that a package arrived containing one of his latest inventions; the Dyson Pure Cool fan and a highly informative DVD on all aspects of the design process.
Armed with the fan, Fraser talked to his classmates about its development and illustrated the unique design using balloons to demonstrate that it was an entirely safe design and certainly an improvement on the traditional bladed versions!
