On Friday 28th January, fifty five Cranleigh Prep School runners took part in the annual Eagle House Cross Country meeting. This is an inter-school competition, and this year a total of 650 runners were involved.

All our runners did incredibly well and definitely did CPS proud. However, a special mention must go to our individual medal winners Oliver D: 1st place in the U10 Boys and Hattie K: 2nd place in the U10 Girls

There was also success in the team competitions. The U10 boys team consisting of Oliver D, Hugo. W, Wilbur H, Monty O’N-D, Josh. A-B and Oliver S claimed 1st place.

It was great seeing the runners enjoying themselves especially as it is a tough course consisting of the infamous ‘killer hill’, but the pupils came away with a positive experience which sees them looking forward to next year’s event.
