Form One received a visit from Zoolab as part of their rainforest topic.
The Zoolab ranger, brought a selection of exotic creepy crawlies to show to the children including a Chilean Rose tarantula, snakes and large cockroaches!
The children in Form One very much enjoyed handling the rainforest creatures, even the slimy snails and smooth, scaly snake. As well as handling the animals, the pupils were told many interesting facts about the rainforest with its different layers and the creatures that live there.
There was great excitement amongst the children and they thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
