The Pangbourne Piano Festival 2024 was attended by 34 schools, mostly prep and with some senior schools attending the older classes.
The classes are competitive, and in addition, each child is given five minutes of feedback and some suggestions for improvement. The pianos are of top class quality.
Cranleigh Prep was represented by nine children from years 6 to 8. Laura L and Evie J won their classes, with Chloe B coming runner up. Everyone played really well, had a lovely family day out and experienced a wealth of piano playing encompassing all styles, with expert guidance from seasoned and experienced professionals.
