Congratulations to James M of Form 2, who has been selected to join the U12 Surrey Golf Academy Training Programme.
James, aged 9, began playing golf very young and by the age of 6, won the south of England Wee Wonders competition, which meant that he had the honour of playing in the UK Finals at the home of golf, St. Andrews. This experience fuelled his passion for the sport and he now plays regularly at Cranleigh Golf Club, recently earning his official playing handicap. His hard work and practice was recognised by the club’s Junior Committee who recommended him for the County programme.
