Cranleigh Prep School was invaded on Friday by some fierce-looking Viking warriors some 900 years after they were last recorded in the British Isles. Form 3 had a Viking workshop throughout the day where they learned about Viking invasions and handled reproduction Viking artefacts. They also played Viking games as well as trying their hand at handling a reproduction Viking sword. It was a most enjoyable and informative session although the pupils were a little warm in their fur outfits given the magnificent Summer weather that we were blessed with!
