Form 1 are learning about forces as part of their science curriculum. Having already looked at friction in the snow, thoughts turned to the adventures of Mr Egghead, a world famous skydiver, who had forgotten his parachute.
After exploring gravity and air resistance, the pupils were asked to design and build a parachute for Mr Egghead to enable him to travel slowly and safely off the Roulston balcony.
