All pupils in Forms 3 – 6 study food technology at CPS. The emphasis is on learning a range of basic skills and having fun. The pupils may only have a limited time in the department each year but they do learn a lot about food and also produce a variety of dishes.
Our Form 6 pupils are currently learning about cuisine from around the world and have already looked at Chinese, Italian, French and European foods. They are currently learning about Indian dishes and over the next few lessons will be cooking Korma, Samosas and Aloo Gobi.
No wonder there is always delicious smells of cooking coming from the food technology department!
