After reaching the quarter-finals and the semi-finals of the qualifying tournament two Cranleigh pairs, Olly H and Dominic S and Isaac C and Quinn H qualified for the Elite Fives tournament which took place on the 10th March.

The standard was high but both Cranleigh pairs more than held their own and it was great to see both pairs progressing from the group stages, with Isaac and Quinn winning their group and getting into the last 16.

There is always an element of luck about who you draw at this stage and although both pairs played well we were unable to progress any further. Plate competitions with losing pairs then allow you to see where you rank in the country. Isaac and Quinn ended up 12th with Olly and Dominic just behind.

All the boys deserve great credit for their efforts. They represented their school with distinction.
