Last Friday a team of six pupils in Form 5 (Year 7) travelled to Danes Hill to undertake a DT STEAM challenge afternoon.
The teams were tasked to design and build three identical craft which could travel on water. With consultation, planning and some trial and error all participants successfully created vessels which floated and moved, with some sadly sinking!
It was a great afternoon enjoyed by all and we look forward to hosting the next challenge here at Cranleigh in May.
