The golf team ventured north to Shropshire last week to take part in the annual IAPS Golf Championships at Macdonald Hill Valley GC.
The team consisting of Will W, Ed T, James M, Raphaella R and Matilda H performed very well and managed to enjoy themselves at the same time, despite the pressures of tournament golf. The team finished 8th nationally and they should be delighted with such a fantastic achievement. James M, in particular, performed exceptionally well, playing up a year for the U10s, finishing as the 6th boy in his age group.
A big thank you from Mr Britt and Mrs Cunningham to the players as well for being such fantastic company over the two days. The children’s excellent behaviour was commented on by several and they were a credit to the school.
