On Tuesday 2nd April, during the Easter holidays, six budding Design and Technologists ventured to London to the Institute of Engineering and Technology for EngFest 2019, accompanied by Khan Brewer, Head of Design.
The day was packed with activities, exhibitions and lectures. Max McMurdo discussed his life as a Designer, Upcycler and television celebrity whilst the CEO of Bloodhound informed the delegates of the developments of the Bloodhound SSC project.
Concluding the lectures Max Scott-Slade introduced us to the life of a computer game designer.
Workshops and exhibitions were a great place to try out new and developing technologies and learn more about the things that will shape our world in the future.
Overall it was a fun and stimulating experience; one which will help continue to fuel the enthusiasm and passion of those involved for design and technology!
