During ‘Lockdown’ in 2020, pupils befriended Daphne, an elderly local resident, sending her cards when nobody from her family could travel to see her due to lockdown restrictions.

In December 2022 Daphne celebrated her 100th birthday and we were invited again to help her celebrate this special birthday. Pupils from Form 5 and some staff popped round and sang Happy Birthday and presented Daphne with cards and a little gift.
