Cranleigh School Combined Cadet Force were able to bask in the reflected glory of WO2 Ben Strickland, our CSM (Senior Cadet), when he was presented with his Army Scholarship by theCCF Biennial Inspection_21545 Headmaster at our Biennial Inspection parade.

These Scholarships are highly competitive with several hundred cadets applying for each place.  Candidates are assessed on leadership, fitness, mental ability, mapCCF Biennial Inspection_21552 reading and many other disciplines, and the very best are then offered a scholarship, which gives them a bursary during their studies at university and, more importantly, a guaranteed place at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst to attend Officer Training Course.

We are hugely proud of what he has achieved and wish Ben all the very best in the future when he moves on to become an Infantry Officer.
