We are delighted that five Upper Sixth Form artists are off to art school next year, and feel this reflects well on the strength of the art department.

Dillon Stingemore, Abbie Sterry and Hannah Coles have won places at Oxford Brookes University, Central St Martin’s UAL, and Loughborough University for Foundation Courses in Art and Design, while two students are going straight onto degree courses. Josh Elliott has a place on the BA Fine Art course at Oxford Brookes University, while Fifi Robinson is to study on the BA Fine Art Painting course at the University of Brighton. Congratulations to them all.

There has been a real buzz in the art department this year and our annual A Level and GCSE exhibition which opens on the evening of Thursday 23 May is a fantastic chance to see what has been going on.

These five will show their work in amongst 17 A level and 49 GCSE students. Do email Mr James Nairne, Director of art if you would like to come.
