During the Easter holidays some of our pupils have been busy playing hockey for their teams, with great results. Liv M. played for the victorious Surbiton under 18s as they overcame Repton to become national champions. Two goals in the first half gave them a cushion but Repton pulled one back early in the second half to make it interesting. Surbiton restored their two-goal advantage and the last five minutes saw three goals with Surbiton scoring again followed by Repton and Liv scored the final goal to give Surbiton a 5-2 victory.

The next match on saw the final of the under 16 boys with Jamie F., Matt H. and Louis P. representing Guildford against Trojans who took the lead after 10 minutes. However Louis levelled it up just a couple of minutes later with a drag flick at a penalty corner and then Jamie scored another drag flick to give Guildford a 2-1 lead at halftime. Unfortunately the Trojans centre forward, one of their England team mates, went on to complete his hat trick in the second half and Trojans added two further goals to run out 5-2 winners leaving Guildford as runners-up.
