Cranleigh School’s U18 Rugby Sevens team made an impressive start to their season, securing the Plate at the prestigious Hampton Founders tournament. The squad showcased their skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the competition, culminating in a commanding 33-7 victory in the final.
This achievement marks the fourth consecutive year that Cranleigh has brought home silverware from this high-profile tournament. The team’s consistent success highlights the strength of the rugby programme on top of an unbeaten 1st XV season for the group.
Throughout the day, Cranleigh demonstrated attacking flair and defensive resilience, scoring a total of 116 points while conceding just 34.
