Cranleigh offers an exciting and diverse programme of weekly clubs, activities, and societies available to all students. These enrichment opportunities are designed to help pupils develop new skills, explore interests, and take part in focused rehearsal and practical sessions for the Creative and Performing Arts.

Alongside creative and recreational options, there is a broad selection of academic societies and well-being activities, including recreational sports that sit outside the main sports programme.

Many activities take place during the three dedicated Priority Time Activity sessions each week, while others run at lunchtime or in the early evening – providing flexibility and variety throughout the school year.

Pupils in the Fourth Form and Lower Fifth are expected to take part in three activities each week, with choices reviewed termly in consultation with their Tutors. Older students are given more independence to shape their involvement, and Sixth Formers have opportunities to lead, organise, and run clubs for younger year groups. Some of the most popular activities have even been started by students themselves, reflecting the creativity and initiative we actively encourage.
