On Thursday 24th May, 14 female cadets from the Lower Fifth attended a STEM (Science,Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers showcase at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

The event invited 900 female cadets between the ages of 11-15 and aimed to “Inspire, Inform and Attract” young females to traditionally difficult to reach careers. The event was inspirational and informative with some female industry leaders giving inspirational talks to the girls. All of the Cadets enjoyed the day, with the Army Air Corps (AAC) stand being the highlight of the day — and we cannot forget to mention that Sophie made the front cover of The Telegraph on Friday.
