In December 2020 James P. released a self-penned, performed and produced song written in memory of his cousin.

“It’s for Steel, my cousin, my best friend all my life. He died aged 19 so it’s about him but it’s also about appreciating what you have while you have it! You never know when it’s the last time that you’ll ever see someone. So just choose love.”

This is James’ debut as a performing artist and part of an upcoming album of new material he has written, performed and produced himself over the last 2 years.

James has championed contemporary music since joining Cranleigh in 2016 and has collaborated with a host of musical acts as a powerhouse of a drummer at Cranleigh Live, RocSoc, East House Music Evenings and most memorably in the Drama Department’s “Punk Rock”.
