St Andrew’s 1 hosted its final 1st XV match last Thursday between Wellington and Cranleigh. With the new 1st XV pitch recently named ‘Bluetts’ ready for action, this was the old pitch’s final send off.

The 1st XV, playing their final match of the season, finished it off in style and remained unbeaten at home with a 25 – 8 victory over Wellington. A large crowd was there to witness the match and were ecstatic to see what was only the fourth time in our history that the 1st XV had won against them. It was also the largest margin of victory we have ever had. Four other sides also managed to win (U14C, U15B, U15C and 5th XV).
