The IFS Student Investor Challenge is the UK’s premier investment competition for UK students aged 14-19. With over 7,000 teams entering, competition is fierce. ‘Spencer’s Cider’ comprising of Eddy Spencer, George Munday, Will Farrer and Ben Steffens invested wisely to come 34th out of all the teams that entered, by clocking an impressive £26k from their original £100k investment within just 3 months. This feat won them a place in the regional finals which was held on Wednesday 14th March in London.

The boys performed well at this stage coming 14th out of all the teams attending. However, this was not enough to secure the coveted all expenses trip to New York. Perhaps next year…!
