The 1st XI has achieved five consecutive victories in 50 over cricket: after two early matches against Christ’s College (from Christchurch, New Zealand) and Hurstpierpoint, rain led to the cancellation of matches against Charterhouse and Winchester.

However, the most recent three weekends have seen consecutive defeats of Tonbridge (by 10 wickets), Dulwich (by 9 wickets) and Wellington (by 7 wickets).  Brothers Bradley and Jack Scriven currently average 155 and 122 runs per innings respectively, while Will Rollings has taken 12 wickets at an average of 9 runs per wicket.

Last Thursday, the U14s also made progress into the 3rd round of the Surrey U14 Lord Taverners cup competition.  Fingers crossed for more sunshine to allow plenty of action in the second half of term!
