Preparations continue for the Devizes to Westminster race.dw kayak 3

Sunday February 3rd saw 22 Cranleigh VIth Formers compete in their first public kayak race (‘Waterside A’) in Wiltshire & Berkshire. They were faced with 13.5 miles of kayaking and 21 portages (carrying the boat around locks & other obstacles) in preparation for the Devizes-Westminster kayak race (125 miles, 77 portages) this Easter.

Next up is the ‘Waterside B’ race (17.5 miles) on Sunday February 17th!
