A'Level Results.1The top year of pupils at Cranleigh School achieved an outstanding set of A level grades: the best in the history of the School. 54% of all the A levels taken were passed at A* or A grade, with 81% at A*, A or B grade. Half the year group of 116 achieved at least 2 A grades; over 40 pupils managed at least 3; and some managed significantly more than that: 11 pupils achieved at least two A* grades, with Imogen Thomas and Hannah Lock gaining two, Imara Gluning, Mike Linford, Will Stocks, Adam van Schaik, Hebe Westcott and Will Yeeles scoring three A*s, Horatio Cox and Beth Andrew four, and Terri Yoon achieving a remarkable five A* grades.

Cranleigh’s Head, Guy Waller, comments, “These results provide our community here at Cranleigh School– both pupils and staff – with a great sense of satisfaction. It is a real pleasure to see so many of our pupils achieving really high grades to access places at good universities. This is particularly important as the jobs market becomes increasingly competitive year by year, and a strong academic c.v.  is crucial. The girls and boys – and their teachers – have once again done each other proud and the results testify to the strong sense of collaboration between staff and pupils in the Sixth Form at the School.”
