On Friday October 3rd in the ALT the finalists for this year’s inter-House Schools Challenge quiz were decided.

Loveday were emphatic victors against South, who had two weeks previously narrowly defeated a strong North??????????????????????????????? team. A large audience was especially impressed with the width of knowledge displayed by Dan Khalupsky. In the East team (against whom a final 50 points with bonus brought Cubitt to 280-300) another international student, Jacob Bartoszewski, also wowed the audience, not least with his knowledge of serious music. However, the East juniors, Freddie Coates and Ted Walliker also shone, as they had against West, and East’s Captain Alex Kiely hopes to lead his men to victory on October 31st, despite Loveday’s good form in recent years.
