Taylor Seager-Green was in the Surbiton Men’s squad that won the National Indoor Super 6s title for the first time. Also in that squad was OC Jonny Gall who played a significant role in this maiden title achievement. Taylor came on in both the semi-final against Sevenoaks and the final against East Grinstead in which he was called on to make a really good save just before the end.

The previous weekend he also starred alongside Rory Calnan and Harry Gough as Surbiton took the U18 Boys indoor title. They cruised through their pool scoring 26 goals and only conceding 1, whilst beating Harleston, Timperley, Lichfield and Ashmoor. A 5-2 semi-final win over Beeston was followed by a rather tighter 1-0 win over Canterbury in the final to take the title.

In the U16 Boys Indoors, Oli Clift, Freddy Esplen and Mark Jamieson were representing Guildford who won their pool – beating Ashmoor, Bowdon & Old Loughtonians and drawing with Cannock – before losing to Repton 3-5 in the semi-final.

On the girls side, the victorious Surbiton U18 indoor squad contained no less than 5 Cranleighans – Zoe Allchurch, Autumn Brown, Izzy Petter, Fifi Robinson and Amy Thompson. They beat Stourport, Taunton Vale, Canterbury and Fylde to top their group. A close 1-0 victory over Wycombe in the semi-final was followed by a 3-0 victory against Isca in the final to take the trophy.

Congratulations to them all.
