Last weekend saw no less than three Cranleighans make their debuts in the Men’s and Women’s Premier Divisions of the English Hockey League.

Taylor Seager-Green played for Surbiton men for the first time against Brooklands on Sunday in a feisty 3-3 draw. Another goalkeeper, Millie Regan, also made her debut on Sunday playing for East Grinstead women against Holcombe in a tight 2-3 defeat.

The previous day Coca Hall played her first game for East Grinstead against University of Birmingham. With Pippa Lock already a regular in East Grinstead’s side, along with OCs Megan Batchelor and Zoe Burrell, there were no less than five Cranleighans playing on Sunday in the big game of the day.

With Izzy Petter a regular in league leaders Surbiton’s women’s side, it’s great to see so many Cranleigh athletes playing at the top of the country’s club hockey set-up.
