Twenty two Cranleigh riders, with 24 horses and ponies, will be heading to Addington Manor in Buckinghamshire this week for the NSEA National Championships: four days of intense competition covering dressage, show jumping and arena eventing.

Cranleigh riders, who have qualified at some tough Regional Qualifiers throughout the last nine months, including several this term, will take part in every discipline at every height level, often with more than one team qualified. There will not be many schools with this number of competitors taking part.

Cranleigh have already won the Regional Points League 2016/17 for the South Central region and came second nationally in this league to Kelso School in Scotland! They will contest the Regional Points League Final at Addington with a team of eight riders.

This week has been an exciting one for Fourth Former Hollie Hodges (pictured) already: she took third place in a British Eventing BE90 Regional Final at the weekend to secure her place in the Grassroots Championship at the famous Badminton Horse Trials next May!
