Last week, Lower Fifth artists enjoyed an afternoon of sustained art-making as part of their year 10 GCSE course. Working in the sculpture, painting, photography or printmaking studios they were able to use the longer period of time to make rapid progress on a new technique or process.

The gallery below shows students working with Mod-Roc in Sculpture, intaglio printing of dry-point engraving plates in printmaking, studio shoots in photography, and developing colour in acrylic in the painting studio.
