On the 14th January each boys’ house sent their teams and supporters descended on the recently re-set climbing wall in the Outdoor Education Centre. Teams had one hour to complete 16 routes varying in grades which catered for all styles of climbing. There was a great atmosphere at the wall created by all the support which helped to encourage the climbers.

The mix in ability added to fun for spectators, with members of the climbing team ascending with style and panache, while others grunted their way up. Luke from North was my highlight, favouring strength and determination to complete a number of tough routes, always with a smile on his face.

So, to the results.
