Our Music staff are embracing the challenge of providing an enriching programme for pupils within the restrictions of current guidance. Music lessons are largely back to normal (albeit adhering to social distancing), and a full and exciting programme of new ensembles and choirs are now running in year group bubbles.

We are all looking forward to the return of cross-year ensembles, but are celebrating live music-making on campus for the first time since March.

Performance is central to everything we do, and so we have now launched a new Online Concert Series, which will feature performances given by pupils and staff alike, and aims to encourage our musicians to develop new skills and approaches, the results of which will be shared on the website.

Our Director of Music, Mr Richard Saxel, leads the way with this programme of late solo piano works by Johannes Brahms.
