Working in diverse teams, students apply the Spirit of Dialogue alongside creativity and innovation to design, develop and bring to market a profitable business in just ten weeks – meeting real-world needs with real-world solutions.

ziilö
ziilö is a student-led washbag company which aims to accommodate customers with a practical spacious trending travel companion for long distance travelling or even just somewhere to store your personal goods to go home after a long week at school. When coming up with our business idea we wanted to come up with a unique selling point to differentiate us from other competitors. In doing so, we found that the major problem with being at boarding school is the lack of space to store everyday products. Another issue we found with regular wash bags is that they are easily permeable and can get easily stained. Therefore this led to the creation of ziilö. A large fashionable wash bag, with waterproof compartments on the inside to accommodate easy access.
Shortleigh
We are incredibly excited to announce the official launch of “Shortleigh”! As part of the CranDo project at school, our team has been busy designing sports shorts that we genuinely believe students will love wearing. We wanted something that feels comfortable, looks sharp, and shows off house pride; every pair features a school house logo on the left leg for that extra show of house spirits on the pitch and beyond.
Our shorts are priced at £24.99 for boys and £19.99 for girls, and we’ve put a lot of thought into making sure we can deliver a well-designed product that represents both value and high standards.
It has been such an incredible experience bringing this idea to life, and we cannot wait to see Shortleigh being worn with pride across the school community. Thank you so much for your support – it really does make a difference!

Gripperz
We are Gripperz, a student-run business introducing an improved version of the classic Cranleigh bumblebee school socks. The current bumblebee socks have no grip on the sole, which can lead to slipping during sports. Our socks are the exact same, fully uniform-compliant Cranleigh bumblebee design, simply with built-in grips added to improve safety, comfort, and performance. They look identical when worn and meet all school uniform requirements. Priced at £15, just £1 more than the standard £14 pair, they offer a small, justified increase for a safer, improved version of the socks students already wear.
DISTINCT
At DISTINCT our goal is to provide people with customisable unique stainless steel affordable chain necklaces. Each piece is fully customisable by the customer, with 38 different charms to choose from. We also prioritise affordability by making our necklaces one of the most affordable on the market while still maintaining a high quality. In a market where each necklace is copy and paste, we decide to be a brand where people can come to get creative and make something that represents them.
