Two podium finishes in two days for Darcey Blaze at the Arena UK High Profile FEI Pony dressage was a fitting end to a year of dedication and patience with her young pony, Tackmann’s Dark Deluxe.

Finishing second on day one in the FEI Pony International individual test also secured her a Pony FEI international qualifying score which opens the door on her ambitions to represent Team GBR at the highest level next year. A phenomenal achievement for them in their first completion at this level. Just to ensure that no-one could say it was beginners luck, she followed this with a third place in the team test on day two.

Meanwhile her school team mates were battling wind and rain to compete in their last Arena Eventing qualifier of the year, with results ensuring that we have now qualified for the NSEA Spring Championships at Junior, Novice and Open level with two more qualifying chances to come for the Intermediates next term.
