This week saw the first annual House Drama Competition take place. The theme this year was taken from a quote by Walt Disney ‘the past can hurt. You can either run from it or learn from it’. The plays were completely student led with the directing, casting and design all driven by the Sixth Form directors. To put on a play in 5 weeks is a huge undertaking and it has been clear that many skills have been gained by all involved from leadership, creativity, patience, team work and resilience.

On Thursday evening there was a formal awards ceremony. Congratulations to the following winners:

Best Directors- Lucy S. and Amy L. for 12 Angry Jurors

Judges Commendation for best comedy scene- Ruby P., Katie A., Kitty W., and Alfie B.,
