We were thrilled to welcome James Averdieck, the visionary founder behind Gü, The Coconut Collaborative, and the new cookie dough brand, Spooners, to speak to our Sixth Form students. In the Lecture Theatre, James shared his invaluable insights on the key ingredients of entrepreneurial success: Idea, Timing, Hard Work, Teamwork, Money… and of course, the X Factor! His impressive journey and ventures serve proof in the “pudding”!

Students had the opportunity to sample a variety of desserts, including the new Spooners cookie dough (now available in Sainsbury’s), and posed some incredibly thoughtful questions. The evening left everyone feeling inspired, with many students taking away key lessons to apply to their upcoming Enterprise challenge.
