This week, audiences were treated to a very different theatrical experience in the Senior school production of The Girl on the Train, which was performed using the live cinema style of Katie Mitchell.

Actors were tasked with both operating cameras and performing in front of them as they transported audiences into the world of Rachel Watson, who becomes obsessed with a woman she admires from her train window, discovers she has gone missing and becomes entangled in a thrilling mystery where she becomes both witness and suspect in the events that follow.

The play has been nominated for The National theatre awards in four categories for best play, best actress with Sophia F., best sound design from Maisy B. and best ensemble.

Congratulations to everybody involved! We look forward to sharing more.
