Cranleigh was proud to be among the top-performing schools in the country at this year’s NSEA National Championships, one of the most competitive events in the schools’ equestrian calendar. This year’s NSEA National Championships saw 577 qualified riders from 195 schools ride 1500 competitive jumping rounds and dressage tests over four full days of competition. Our riders came home with five national titles and several minor placings to retain their place amongst the best equestrian teams in the country.
The Open Arena Eventing team kicked off Saturday’s successes by retaining the title they won in 2024, with Tara M also taking individual silver alongside teammates Gracie G, Pernille A, and Madeleine R. Tara went on to claim the Advanced Open Arena Eventing title she has been chasing for three years, delivering a superb round that impressed judges and spectators alike.
The Intermediate team of Ete M, Sophie B, and Gracie G put in a strong performance to finish seventh overall, while Gracie also secured individual bronze in the Novice event.
On Sunday, the riders returned for the Intermediate Show Jumping, producing another solid performance to finish fourth after a faultless final round.
Away from the jumping arena, Tara, Gracie, Ete, and Madeleine shone in the dressage, winning the National Team Dressage title. Madeleine added further success with two individual golds, while Gracie achieved a top-ten finish.
A huge well done to everyone who competed — we are incredibly proud of your hard work, teamwork, and dedication.
