The Strings Showcase concert on Wednesday 11th February was a true celebration of Cranleigh string playing. The substantial programme incorporated a variety of solo and chamber items, ranging from duets, the string sextet and the cello/bass ensemble, to the full string orchestra. It was wonderful to see young promising players sharing the same stage with our most accomplished and inspirational sixth formers.
