On Tuesday 5th February, artist Rebecca Loweth led a workshop for our Lower Sixth artists all about projection. Using imagery already developed by students, they were encouraged to use the digital and overhead projectors (now getting quite antique!) to cast images over a variety of materials to produce disruptions, distortions and playful changes of scale to their work.

Rebecca’s enthusiasm had students pushing themselves to experiment and try new ideas. The outcomes were surprising and will feed into the next stage of their current project.
