We love welcoming children at 11+ and each year 20-30 children join our Year 7 from a variety of schools. Children spend two years at Cranleigh Prep then automatically progress onto Cranleigh Senior School at Year 9.
Each year, there are both day and boarding places available, including weekly and flexi-boarding.

Cranleigh welcomed Sam Price as Head in September 2024 and welcomes Will Newman as Prep Head in January 2025, signalling a new, exciting time at Cranleigh.
We are looking for children who enjoying taking part in school in a variety of areas. Our academics are strong, and we also welcome a lot of children who need support. We are an all-round school with many opportunities outside the classroom making the most of our 250 acres in the Surrey Hills.
Highlights over the last year have included a huge production of West Side Story with a collaboration from dancers from Cranleigh Abu Dhabi; winning various national competitions in sport and the opening of a new gym, squash and dance centre; a collaboration with the British Army Music Band Sandhurst; a vast array of international trips including our scientists visiting the Kennedy Space Centre in Orlando and our girls and boys cricket teams touring Sri Lanka.
